XNAT is the open source platform of choice for medical imaging management and processing. With 20 years of success, it has been used in countless ways to streamline research and clinical workflows.
Sure, you can use XNAT for free. But, if you really want to get the most out of it, why not let the people who built it help you. We have decades of experience with XNAT and know all the tips and tricks for making the most of the platform.
Things we've done with XNAT for clients like you:
Built a configuration to support upload and processing of thousands of datasets in 24 hours (with Freesurfer runs)
We'll meet with you and talk through your ideas. We can propose strategies, integrate with your team or directly manage things for you. Meet with us, and let's figure out how we can help.
We offer support contracts for ongoing services in helping you manage your XNAT installations. Whether you need us to do all the system configuration / management, manage just the application, or provide a turn-key system on the cloud, we have the expertise you need to make XNAT work for you.
We have the expertise and know how to customize XNAT in a fraction of the time of a new developer. Furthermore, we can work with you to make your customizations available to the open source community.
Founded by Tim Olsen in 2024, XNATWorks is an opportunity for the people who have made XNAT what it is to help the XNAT community get the most out of the platform.
Tim was the original architect and developer of the XNAT platform at Washington University (working closely with Dan Marcus, the project's visionary lead). [Who wrote XNAT?] Tim was the technical lead of the project from its inception in 2004 through 2012. From 2012-2021, Tim was CTO of Radiologics, the commercial arm of the XNAT project, managing ongoing support and development of commercially supported XNAT work. After Flywheel's aquistion of Radiologics, Tim was able to rejoin the core XNAT development team in 2022 and spearheaded the performance improvements (XNAT 1.8.9) and dependency updates (coming in XNAT 1.9) efforts.
As part of the original founding team for XNAT, Tim loves to see how it is used in new and dynamic ways, and is always eager to help the community to make XNAT work.
To be honest, we just really love talking to the XNAT Community. We are perfectly happy to just discuss what you are doing and give some informal guidance and best practices. And, if you need anything more then that, we can go from there.
